Find your Color

The theme for this shoot could be changed to Strength and Courage. I constantly think back to this shoot on how Stevie transformed. During the first half of the shoot, Stevie wore a white lingerie piece, she didn't feel as comfortable in it, and the images weren't as impactful. Then Stevie tried on a Blue set, we shot a few more images, and she still didn't feel herself. She mentioned she had this red piece but wasn't sure how it would benefit her shoot since her hair was already red and the piece was new. Since it was on her mind we decided she should try it. As Stevie came out of the dressing room her eyes caught her reflection in the big mirror, she looked herself up and down, took a selfie and realize this was it, this was her color and lingerie choice.

Stevie came back to the set with a massive smile and just killed it! She was radiating confidence, and was extremely different than when she first came to the shoot. As a photographer I could not believe it at first, and knew I had to capture the confident model in front of me.

Red is her color, not only did it match her hair, but it boosted her confidence and enthusiasm for the shoot.

This shoot always reminds me to pick your favorite color when deciding which lingerie piece to bring to a set. Even if you have a certain theme in mind always bring your favorite!
